•
  • Expertise in chemistry applications of process and grabsampling systems and equipment, and bench and on-line analytical equipment, for the power industry.

  • •Provide routine, consistent monthly/quarterly and scheduled maintenance, electronic calibration, repair and check-out of analytical equipment to ensure accuracy, operability and dependability.

  • •Provide Chemistry Monitoring System (CMS) maintenance, repair and input calibration. Verify analytical instrumentation results with the DCS system (Ovation/WDPF) to ensure that accurate instrument readings are stored in PI for trending andscorecard analysis.

    •

  • •Coordination of common issues regarding CMS and analytical equipment and manage the resolution of those issues. Centralized management of equipment/system repair parts and spare equipment. Potential cost savings in reduction of inventory.

  • Liaison between Chemistry and Plant Controls Engineering, Maintenance, Information Technology and the PI Team in resolving CMS problems and issues in a timely manner.

  • Supplement plant I&C and engineering support of specialized DCS CMS controls application and chemistry analytical equipment.

  • Expedite resolution of problems and issues outside of plant work control processes.•

  • Development of procedures, operation guidelines and on-site training for CMS and analytical equipment   .

Maximize plant’s investment in expensive capital equipment by providing consistent maintenance, refurbishment and repair to provide peak performance and extend the operable life of equipment.

Allow plant chemistry staff to focus efforts on managing the cycle or process chemistry and making informed operational decisions with reliable and accurate data provided by a well maintained system and equipment
